Out of the 4 senior Cb's we have he is quite a bit younger than the rest. Diop is only 24 and the rest are all 30 + or so.
Also, a lot of his last few years here have been playing in relegation battles or with a manager who didnt care about defence at all.
I think in a few years time he could be immense. It would be a shame to lose him to another club who will get the best version of him.

That also NEVER happens with stock, Nage son.
Someone might end up doing it one day and earning some money, but highly unlikely.

Does some things well but always looks nervous and clumsy on and off the ball. Also gets caught wrong side 2 or 3 times a game which is a big problem for a cb

His performances last season were as bad and probably worse than this season. And given that last year he was playing for a club who nearly got relegated and this year a team close to the top 4 I doubt his value has changed much. And we'd be lucky to get close to £15m this year or last.
Before you go, can you give us some stock tips? I hear that it's good to buy a stock that's going cheap but will rise in value at a later date. Is that correct, oh Genius one?

I said we should try to sell him for £20mil last summer, when he still had a decent enough rep. That's still a LOSS, btw. And the general response was we'd be mad to sell him for that, which was the general response when he was being rated at £60mil after 1 good performance against Man Utd.
Thing is, I was bang on that we should try to sell him, as we'd be lucky to get £15mil for him now, given his performances this season when he's been in the team.

Not to split hairs but we paid a club record £22M for Diop which was soon broken when we paid £25M for Arnie.

You miss the point Eerie son. We made a loss of £25m on Haller, we'll be lucky to get half our money back on Anderson, and yet you seem to think clubs would snap our hands off to pay £25m for Diop.
You're right though. We ought to buy low and sell high. Right fucking genius you are.

Yeah, it's absolutely impossible to sell a player who has got a decent reputation for good money, when he might not be worth that in reality. And there's absolutely no example of a team signing players with good reputations for inflated prices.
As in a club signing Diop for £25mil, Anderson for £35mil, Haller for £45mil...

We paid £2.5mil for Dawson.
Engage brain. Think about what happens with football transfers over and over again. Cash in when it's best to do so. It's pretty simple to understand if you're not a plank.
Hence why you are struggling.
